John Howlett’s Copper Rail Six (trad) – better known to some under the name of Kings of Jazz but have now returned to the original band name promoted by ex Monty Sunshine trombonist John. With such fine and respected jazz stars as Brian White (cl), Peter Towndrow (tp), Vic Pitt (bass), and Tony Pitt (bjo/gtr) Graham Smith (dms) it is little wonder that they have gelled into a highly successful combination that are applauded long and hard wherever they appear.
Dart Valley Stompers (trad/New Orleans) - formed by Jeremy Huggett in July 2005 with the intention of playing lively, exciting music in the New Orleans and Traditional styles of jazz. Perdido Street Jazz Band (trad/mainstream) – Worcestershire’s longest established jazz band return to the festival with newest recruit to their front line, reedsman Trevor Emeny. As each year passes the band’s enthusiasm for performing jazz in their own inimitable style has never waned.
The Po Boys (New Orleans) – four musicians who after playing together in a number of different bands formed this quartet to produce a unique sound which is an amalgam of the separate experiences and musical abilities. Led by clarinettist John Lawes with Colin Kingwell on trombone, Pete Brooks on bass and Ian Parry on banjo.

Sunshine Kings (dixieland/trad) - are collection of young musicians from in and around London, fronted by Graham Hughes on trombone. The jazz revolution was sparked over a century ago by a new music that was full of joy, intensity and passion. The Sunshine Kings like to bring the same magnetic feeling to their performances with a repertoire built up from classics of the pre-bebop era of jazz. Paul Munnery’s Swing Street - This is a well rehearsed six piece band whose love of the 1930s New York sound infects all who hear it.
