Thank You For Another Successful Year!

Pershore Jazz Club and Festival
Ugly Sisters

Thanks to everyone that came along to the 2011 Pershore Jazz Festival. This year saw our best attendance, and lots and lots of positive comments. A review and more pictures are on the Festival page.

Also we have had a very successful year at the club.

The bands appearing at the 2012 Festival and other information will be on the Festival page shortly.

Meanwhile here are the Ugly Sisters of Sister Swing - in disguise Jeff Barnhart and Tony Sharp.

About Pershore

AbbeyIn the heart of the Vale of Evesham some ten miles south east of  Worcester and  six miles west of Evesham lies the small market town of Pershore. Sitting on the banks of the River Avon, Pershore is renowned for its Georgian architecture but it is the Abbey that commands attention. Most of the Abbey's architecture is from the 13th century and today it is dominated by the tall pinnacled tower. In summer the tower is often open. Climb to the top for a beautiful view of the Vale and Bredon Hill.

Agriculture is the mainstay of the local economy and  Pershore is also home to the world famous Agricultural College which has built an international reputation for its courses and for the show gardens that it exhibits at RHS shows such as Malvern and Chelsea.

With boating and fishing on the Avon, miles of pathways and walks up Bredon Hill to enjoy, Pershore is the beating heart of the Vale of Evesham.
